Concours de jeu de personnage

 

The intraclass activity titled *“Concours de Jeu de Personnage”* (Character Role-Play Competition) was held to encourage students to explore language learning through creativity and performance. Students enacted different characters, showcasing their speaking skills, imagination, and understanding of French culture.

The activity aimed to:

* Enhance students’ oral communication skills in French

* Build confidence in public speaking

* Encourage creative expression through role-play

* Develop understanding of character portrayal


Learners selected characters famous personalities of France. They prepared short presentations in French, including dialogues, expressions, and actions relevant to their character. Props and costumes were encouraged to make the performance more engaging.


Each participant presented individually before the class, and performances were evaluated based on predefined criteria including pronunciation, expression, creativity, and stage presence.

*Concours de Jeu de Personnage* was a highly engaging and enriching experience for students. It not only strengthened their language skills but also nurtured important Cambridge learner attributes. The activity successfully created a joyful and interactive learning environment, motivating students to use French in a meaningful and expressive way.
