 The class begin with an overview of basic sewing tools and materials, including needles, thread, fabric, and scissors. Students were taught how to thread a needle, tie a knot, and position the fabric for sewing. The teacher demonstrated the proper technique for creating a straight stitch – a simple, forward stitch that forms a straight line on the fabric.
