                   EARTH DAY CELEBRATION The Cambridge wing of DAVPS, Pushpanjali Enclave, celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April, 2025 in the school ground with great enthusiasm. Students from Class 2-8 participated in various activities. The celebration began with a yoga session by students, promoting physical and mental well-being. Students sang a song emphasizing the importance of protecting our planet. It was followed by 'Fashion Show' in which students showcased dresses made from waste materials, highlighting creativity and sustainability. Students wrote save-earth messages on leaf cutouts and pasted them on 'Tree Of Life' which was displayed on stage. Posters on "How to Keep Your Classrooms Cool" were displayed, promoting eco-friendly practices. In Class 4, we kicked off the new session with an engaging activity that allowed students to express their feelings and thoughts about being in a new class. # Expressing Emotions Through Art Students were given the opportunity to draw on a chart paper pasted outside the classroom, illustrating their emotions and feelings about being in a new class. Some students also chose to write down their thoughts and feelings, providing a deeper insight into their minds. This activity served as a great icebreaker, allowing students to convey their emotions and get comfortable with their new classmates and surroundings.
